I didn’t know this was going on. I would skip the wine but would be all over the food. Yum!

Perhaps my favorite time of year at Disney— the Wine & Food Festival. Lots of ahh, perfect temps and inspired living. Don’t know if you’ve been, but Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival is almost on.
This year the “The Art of Flavor festival” runs for 45 days from April 16-May 31. There are all kinds of events like daily demos with culinary and celebrity chefs, including Guy Fieri, and seminars, if you wanna call ‘em that, on featured wine, beer and spirits.
Plus there are Signature Events* (code for: extra fee required or even gift ideas for friends/family). Here’s a lists of some of the happenings:
Festival Wine Walks and Beer Walks
Daily. Tastings of fave flavors, and discover new vino loves and beers as you stroll through Stage 12, at the Festival Showplace.
Winemaker Dinners
Fridays: April 23, 30, May 14 & 21, 6:30-9. Award-winning wines paired with culinary creations at Steakhouse 55, with Chef Jason Martin
New Brewmaster Dinner
Fri May 7, 6-9. Join experts from Karl Strauss Brewing Company for delicious food paired with beers, at Steakhouse 55.
New Riedel Glass Tasting
Saturdays, April 24, May 28, 6:45-8. Interesting class led by an expert from Riedel, learn why the glass matters when it comes to wine tasting. Guests swag bag: a tasting set of 4 Riedel Vinum series lead crystal wine glasses.
Sweet Sundays
April 18, May 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
10:30am-12:30pm. Sunday morning buffets featuring swank desserts from acclaimed pastry chefs, at the Festival Showplace inside Disney’s California Adventure.
Taste Wine Like an Expert
Saturdays: May 1, 8, 15 & 22, 2-4pm. Chill education with Sommelier Joy Cushing of Napa Rose restaurant
Napa Rose Cooking School
Saturdays: April 17, May 1, 8, 15 & 22, 10:00am-1pm. Exec Chef Andrew Sutton of Napa Rose leads you in preparing a 4-course gourmet meal. Guests get a commemorative chef’s coat, embroidered with the Festival logo.
