PLM in the News!March 23, 2009
Hey friends, PLM was just picked as the new business spotlight in the OC area! Take a read. PLM also made the news in Coast Kids Spring issue, page 10. They called PLM “A must-click! Peace Love and Momminess is part blog, part webzine and all awesome. Founder Debbie Lavdas has seriously got it all covered at this one-stop web spot for OC moms. The lifestyle guide covers categories like Kids Corner, Green Living and Daily Escapes, to name a few.” Thanks to the OC Register & Coast Kids! If you know more ways to spread the PLM word, please get in touch, and thanks for reading. peace out |

First Stitches. And On My Watch, Of Course.March 11, 2009 At the PLM booth this weekend at the Dana Point Street Faire, I decided to take 5 minutes to myself, the first time in 2 days, and let my husband run the show. It was a conscious choice to decompress and just eat lunch for 5 minutes. And it was then that it happened. The scream, the pool of red, the unknown. My little guy came screaming, hysterical, with red gushing down his neck. He had jumped off the flower bed retainer wall that was 5 feet away one time too many, fell and cut open his chin (the kid probably jumped off that wall 200 other times that weekend). My husband scooped him up, ran off to find an urgent care. They returned stitched, happy and with toys. I was left with The Mom Guilt of not watching him close enough. At least it happened, it’s over, we’ve been inducted into the world of stitches. But next time, not my watch, please.

Everyday I hope to be a little more like my yellow lab, Teddy. He loves everything, everybody, and is only occasionally stressed by escalators.
