Get in character for Legoland’s Brick or Treat this Halloween

By October 5, 2015December 4th, 2015Orange County

As superheros, we descended upon LEGOLAND® California Resort to check out the action for their annual Brick or Treat fun. Pow! Some of us came dressed ready for action, others dashed in a dressing room and transformed in an instant.

Kapow! In seconds, the chatter started around us. “Look it’s Batman, ooh and Superman, and Bat Girl, Capt. America too.” Brick or treat is just more fun when you’re outfitted for the evening. (Little kids were actually coming up to my husband asking to take a picture with him, which left my kids cracking up.)

The Brick-or-Treat Party Nights at LEGOLAND® California Resort are a big deal—the biggest kids’ Halloween celebration in San Diego and among top stops in OC. Every Saturday night (Oct. 3,10,17 & 24) plus Friday Oct. 30 starting at 5 p.m., the Park transforms into a not-too-spooky Halloween festival. Kids get to go trick-or-treating as a family and take in the fun throughout the Park, including the new LEGO® Friends Heartlake City.

Riding the rides in full character is a blast. And your kids are giddy seeing the parents in their creative getups.

Be sure to check out the new Candy Quest, a walk-through at the Adventurers’ Club in Fun Town that puts kids on a quest for the sweet treats. It’s brand new, so don’t miss out.

Other festive fun on the Brick or Treat to-dos includes shows throughout the Park, and of course treat stations—there are seven with specialty items including a LEGO® NINJAGO™ giveaway and commemorative Brick—and new roaming candy carts throughout the Park, as well as two bonus treat stations inside SEA LIFE® Aquarium.

Take a break to watch the costume contest on stage (which anyone can enter), and squeeze in time for the Fall Festival complete with Pumpkin Patch Building and blue-grass style music in LEGO Friends Heartlake City. There’s interactive story-telling too. Whew! Sound like a lot to do? There is!

Brick-or-Treat Party Nights is a special event and admission can be purchased for $35 if purchased online in advance. Other worthy fun with the party night of admission includes a hilarious “Boo Crew,” a dazzling animated Spirits of Brick-or-Treat light show, and family favorite, the Ghost Cruise Scavenger Hunt.

A sweet moment of the night occurred when legos were more the eye candy than the candy. Here you’ll see my two boys with some friends keeping themselves busy. Hey, legos rule, right—anytime, anywhere?

As a LEGOLAND Mom Ambassador, I look forward to bringing you more of the upcoming awesome at the Park. Bam! Blam! Phoopmh! And Happy Halloween.

The AWESOME AWAITS…at the Park after dark during Brick-or-Treat Party Nights. For exclusive savings and more information, visit http://www.BRICKORTREAT.com or call 760-918-5346.

A totally great way to end the night, by the way, includes a stay at the hotel (ideal when you are tired from all the trails). And, psst, LEGOLAND® Hotel joins in the fun with its own Halloween party on Oct. 31 with candy giveaways, a dance party and a special visit from the Mail Order Monsters exclusively for Hotel guests!

(As a LEGOLAND Ambassador, this is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own).
