Friday night Hot Wheels hit the Discovery Cube OC. The kids and I checked it out opening night, and my boys—and girl—were pretty revved up. The new exhibit runs through September and offers fun car eye candy, ranging from hot cars to pit-crew engagement to designer illustrations.
There’s quite a bit to do. Little ones will be all about the tracks, as they can race their Hot Wheels heart out. Older kids may like taking in some of the real life-size cars, as well as the illustrations of upcoming Hot Wheels machines to be seen in the new Star Wars movie and more.
I found head designer, Edson, who’s designed for Harry Potter, Star Wars and many other iconic flicks to be a delight to chat with. It felt as if I was in Hot Wheels Holiness chatting with this master.
